Good morning, my friend! 

You may be waiting for God to give you a big assignment, while somebody right beside you just needs a little kindness. 

Galatians 6:10 says, “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” 

Notice those words: “As we have therefore opportunity.” 

Every day, God gives us opportunities to do good. But sometimes we are so busy looking for something extraordinary that we walk right past somebody who needs encouragement. 

Doing good doesn’t always require a lot of money or a big platform. Sometimes it’s a phone call. Sometimes it’s taking somebody a meal. Sometimes it’s slowing down long enough to listen and saying, “My friend, you don’t have to carry this by yourself.” 

And Paul says to do good unto all men. That includes people who see things differently, people who cannot repay us, and people who may never say thank you. 

He also reminds us to care for our family of faith. The people sitting beside us at church may be carrying burdens we know nothing about. 

So today, ask the Lord, “Who can I bless?” 

Then pay attention. Make the call. Speak the encouragement. Offer the help. 

You don’t have to change everybody’s world today. But you can make a difference in somebody’s. 

Let the love of Jesus show up through you.
