Good morning, my friend! Have you ever looked at your life and wondered, “Lord, where is all of this going?”
You’re doing your best, but things aren’t working out like you hoped. The waiting gets long, and the questions get heavy.
Listen to Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
God spoke those words to people living in captivity. They were far from home, facing circumstances they wouldn’t have chosen. And God’s promise didn’t mean they were getting out of their trouble that afternoon. They still had some waiting to do.
But God had not forgotten them.
And, my friend, whatever you’re facing today, you can bring it to that same faithful God.
I’ll be honest: I like knowing what’s next. I like having a plan. But sometimes, following the Lord means taking today’s step while trusting Him with tomorrow.
Think about planting a seed. You water it, but for a while, all you see is dirt. That doesn’t mean nothing is happening underneath.
Sometimes we’re so focused on what we cannot see that we forget what God has already shown us about His faithfulness.
Today, name one thing you’re worried about and pray, “Lord, help me trust You with this.” Then take the next faithful step.
You don’t have to figure out your whole future this morning.
Stay close to Jesus, trust His Word, and grow on!
