Good morning, my friend.

Deuteronomy 31:8 says, “And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”

I love the reminder that God doesn’t just go with us. He goes before us.

Whatever you are going to face today, God is already there.

That conversation you’re worried about, He’s already there. That decision you need to make, He’s already there. That situation you don’t know how you’re going to handle, He’s already there.

Sometimes we get anxious because we’re trying to figure out tomorrow with only the information we have today. But God sees what we cannot see. He knows what we do not know. And He promises that when we get there, He will be there with us.

Notice what the verse says: “He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee.”

People may disappoint you. Plans may change. Life may take a turn you never expected. But God will not abandon you in the middle of it.

So whatever is ahead of you today, don’t let fear have the final word.

Take the next step. Trust God. Keep moving forward.

You’re not walking into anything today that God hasn’t already walked into ahead of you.

And that, my friend, is a pretty good reason to Press On!
