THE ART OF BECOMING!

I’ve been thinking about something lately.

At 58 years old, after nearly forty years in ministry, I’ve come to realize that one of the greatest mistakes we can make is believing we’ve finished becoming who we’re supposed to be.

There’s still so much to learn, so many places to explore, so many books to read, and so many interesting people to meet.

I want to keep growing in wisdom, strengthening my character, improving myself, and enjoying the adventures God allows me to experience.

I want to be a better husband, father, grandfather, pastor, friend, and gentleman.

And I want to become better at listening, learning, laughing, and appreciating the people around me.

Because growing older is inevitable, but growing wiser and becoming better requires intentional effort.

Here’s my question for you today: What’s one area of your life where you’d still like to grow or improve?
