First Corinthians 13:6 says, “Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth.”
That verse reminds us that real love doesn’t cheer for what is wrong. Love doesn’t enjoy seeing somebody stumble, and it doesn’t make light of sin. Love cares enough to tell the truth, even when the truth is hard to hear.
But love also rejoices when truth is spoken and lived out. It celebrates honesty. It celebrates a changed heart. It celebrates when someone takes a step toward what is right, even if they still have a long way to go.
We live in a world that can sometimes call wrong right and right wrong. So we need God’s Word to keep our hearts steady. And we need His love to shape how we speak the truth—with humility, kindness, and compassion.
Maybe today you have an opportunity to encourage someone who is trying to make a better choice. Don’t just point out the problem. Remind them that God’s truth offers a better way, and that His grace is there to help them take the next step.
My friend, love rejoices when truth wins—in our homes, in our relationships, and in our own hearts. Press on, and let God’s truth guide you today.
