You Weren’t Meant To Carry It All!

Good morning, my friend.

Psalm 55:22 says, “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”

Have you ever gotten up in the morning and felt tired before the day even started? Your feet haven’t hit the floor, but your mind is already carrying a load.

You’re thinking about your family, your finances, somebody you love who’s hurting, and a situation you just don’t know how to fix.

I understand. Sometimes I catch myself trying to carry things that I’ve already prayed about. I give them to God, and then somewhere along the way, I pick them right back up.

But this verse reminds us that we have somewhere to take our burdens.

God says, “Cast thy burden upon the LORD.” Bring Him what’s weighing you down. You don’t have to find fancy words. Just say, “Lord, this is heavy, and I need Your help.”

And notice His promise: “He shall sustain thee.”

He may not change the situation as quickly as you would like, but He can give you strength for the next step, peace in the uncertainty, and grace to keep going.

So today, when that worry comes back, let it remind you to pray again.

Your burden matters to God because you matter to God.

Take a deep breath, trust Him with what you cannot control, and keep walking with Jesus.
