Good evening, my friend.
“What a privilege it is to be able to wake up and try again!”
As this day comes to a close, maybe you’re thinking about something you wish you had handled differently. A word you shouldn’t have said. Something you left undone. A struggle that got the best of you.
I understand. I have those days too.
But listen to Psalm 103:8: “The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.”
Aren’t you thankful that God doesn’t run out of mercy when we run out of strength?
You can bring Him your mistakes tonight. Ask His forgiveness. Let Him teach you through what happened, and then rest in His care.
If God gives you another morning, that’s another opportunity to love your family, encourage somebody, make things right, and take another step with Jesus.
We don’t have to carry today’s regrets into tomorrow’s opportunities.
So tonight, thank God for carrying you through this day. Lay your burdens down, get some rest, and remember: what a privilege it is to wake up and try again!

Rest well, my friend
