Real Faith Produces Obedience!

What if the greatest danger is not refusing to believe in Jesus, but believing in Him without ever surrendering to Him?

I heard someone say: “Believing in Jesus but not obeying Him is exactly what Satan does.”

And man, that really hit me.

James 2:19 says, “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”

Satan knows Jesus is real. He knows Jesus is the Son of God. He knows the Bible is true. His problem is not a lack of information. His problem is rebellion.

Friend, saving faith is more than agreeing with facts about Jesus. It is trusting Him enough to follow Him.

Jesus said in John 14:15, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

Now, we are not saved by our obedience. We are saved by grace through faith. But genuine faith produces a desire to obey. When Jesus becomes your Savior, He also becomes your Lord.

You cannot follow Jesus while insisting on always going your own way.

So ask yourself today: Is there something Jesus has told me to do that I keep putting off?

Do not settle for a faith that only knows about Jesus. Choose a faith that follows Jesus.

Here is today’s challenge: Believe His Word, obey His voice, and take the next step He places before you.

Don’t Back Up, Sit Down, or Give Up!

What do you do when life hits you hard enough to make you want to back up, sit down, or give up?

1 Corinthians 16:13 says, “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.”

Paul gives us four powerful instructions for the days when life gets difficult: Stay alert. Stand firm. Be courageous. Be strong.

Notice he doesn’t say everything will be easy. He tells us how to live when it isn’t.

Friend, there are going to be moments when your faith gets tested. There will be days when you don’t understand what God is doing, prayers seem unanswered, people disappoint you, and circumstances don’t turn out the way you hoped.

But you don’t have to understand everything to stand on what you know.

You know God is faithful. You know His Word is true. You know Jesus is with you.

And you know that the God who brought you this far did not bring you here to abandon you now.

So today, stand fast in the faith. When fear tells you to run, stand. When doubt tells you to quit, stand. When the enemy tells you nothing is going to change, stand.

You may feel weak, but your strength was never supposed to come from you alone. God will give you strength for what He has called you to face.

Here’s your challenge today: Don’t surrender your ground just because the battle got difficult. Stand strong, stay faithful, and trust God with the outcome.

And if you could use a little encouragement from God’s Word each day, follow or subscribe and let’s keep walking this journey of faith together.
