Grace Meets You, Truth Changes You!

John 1:14 says, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…”

Think about the staggering meaning of that statement.

Christianity does not begin with the idea that humanity somehow climbed its way up to God. It begins with the astonishing claim that God came down to us.

The Word became flesh.

God did not remain distant from the suffering, confusion, temptation, and brokenness of human existence. Jesus stepped directly into it.

He became hungry. He became tired. He experienced rejection. He knew sorrow. He felt pain.

And yet John says that when Jesus entered this broken world, He was “full of grace and truth.”

Notice that combination.

Grace without truth can become permission to remain unchanged.

Truth without grace can crush a person beneath the weight of their failures.

But Jesus brought both.

He tells you the truth about who you are, but He also offers the grace to become who God created you to be.

And maybe that is the challenge for us today.

Stop running from the truth about your life.

Face what needs to change. Take responsibility for the choices you can make today. Bring your failures, wounds, fears, and unfinished places into the presence of Christ.

Because the God who came into our world still enters broken places.

And when Jesus moves into a life, grace meets you where you are, but truth refuses to leave you there.

Today, open every part of your life to Him.

The Word became flesh.

Now let His truth become visible in you.
