Someone said, “Since Satan can’t change God’s mind about you, he will try to change your mind about God!”

Friend, Satan cannot change God’s love for you. He cannot cancel God’s promises, erase God’s grace, or rewrite God’s purpose for your life. So, what does he do? He whispers lies.

He tells you that God has forgotten you because the answer has not come. He tells you that God has abandoned you because life has become difficult. He reminds you of your failures and tries to convince you that God could never use someone like you.

But the Bible says in Romans 8:38–39 that nothing “shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Your circumstances may change, but God’s character does not. Your feelings may change, but God’s faithfulness does not. Even when you cannot see His hand, you can still trust His heart.

So today, challenge every lie with the truth of God’s Word. When the enemy says God has left you, remember that God promised, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Do not let one difficult season change your mind about a faithful God.

Keep trusting. Keep praying. Keep walking. God has not changed His mind about you!

“For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:” -Romans 6:5 (KJV)

What if the thing you thought was buried was actually being planted?

Friend, there is a big difference between being buried and being planted. When something is buried, we assume it is over. But when something is planted, we expect something new to come out of the ground.

Romans 6:5 says that if we have been “planted together” with Christ in the likeness of His death, we will also share in the likeness of His resurrection.

That means when you come to Jesus, He doesn’t just forgive your past. He gives you a new life.

The old you doesn’t have to control the new you.

Your past mistakes don’t get the final word. Your old habits don’t have to hold you hostage. Your failures don’t have to become your identity.

Jesus died, was buried, and rose again.

And when you put your faith in Him, you are united with Him. His resurrection reminds us that God specializes in bringing life out of places that looked dead.

Maybe you’re in a season right now that feels dark. Maybe something has ended. Maybe you’re wondering what God is doing.

Don’t confuse being planted with being forgotten.

God may be doing some of His greatest work beneath the surface where nobody else can see it.

So here’s my challenge for you today: Stop digging up what God is trying to grow.

Leave the old life behind, walk with Jesus, and believe that resurrection always means there is more to the story.
