Keep Shining!

Have you ever wondered if the little bit of good you’re doing is actually making a difference?

Daniel 12:3 says, “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”

Good morning, my friend.

We live in a world that can feel pretty dark sometimes. There is plenty of discouragement, division, heartache, and fear to go around.

But God didn’t call you to complain about the darkness.

He called you to shine in it.

And you don’t have to have a platform, a title, or a big audience to make a difference.

Sometimes shining looks like encouraging somebody who is ready to give up.

Sometimes it is praying with somebody who is hurting.

Sometimes it is forgiving when you could have stayed bitter.

Sometimes it is simply living your faith consistently enough that somebody else begins to wonder what makes you different.

Daniel says that those who “turn many to righteousness” will shine like the stars.

Think about that.

Stars don’t make a lot of noise. They just keep shining.

And sometimes the darker the night becomes, the easier they are to see.

My friend, somebody is watching the way you live. Somebody needs the hope you carry. Somebody may find their way toward Jesus because they saw His light shining through you.

So don’t underestimate what God can do through one faithful life.

Keep loving.

Keep encouraging.

Keep pointing people toward Jesus.

And when this life is over, may it be said that because you were here, somebody else found their way Home.

Keep shining, my friend. The world needs the light God has placed in you.
