What Has Your Mind Today?

You can wake up to a brand-new day and still feel the weight of yesterday pressing on your heart.

Before your feet touch the floor, your mind may already be racing, replaying conversations, worrying about tomorrow, and trying to solve problems God never asked you to carry alone.

Romans 8:6 says, “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

Friend, what has your mind today?

Are you being led by fear, frustration, and the need to control everything?

Or are you allowing the Holy Spirit to lead you into trust, obedience, and peace?

Our flesh will pull us toward selfishness, resentment, and worry.

But the Spirit draws us closer to God. He teaches us to love when it is difficult, to forgive when we have been hurt, and to trust the Lord when we cannot see the way forward.

A spiritually minded life begins with surrender.

“Lord, guide my thoughts. Shape my attitude. Help me respond in a way that honors You.”

That prayer can change the direction of your day.

When someone upsets you, pause before you respond and ask God for grace.

When worry begins to rise, take it to the Lord instead of carrying it alone.

When you face a decision, open His Word and allow His truth to guide your next step.

You may still have difficult feelings.

You may still have unanswered questions.

But you do not have to walk through them by yourself.

The Holy Spirit is with you.

The peace God gives is deeper than your circumstances. It does not come from having everything figured out. It comes from knowing you belong to Him and trusting Him with what you cannot control.

So today, pray before you scroll.

Pray before you react.

Pray before you rush into the day.

Read Romans 8:6 again, and ask the Lord to lead your mind, your words, and your choices.

Then follow Him in the next step.

One step of obedience.

One moment of trust.

One surrendered thought at a time.

Let the Spirit guide your mind and your steps today.
