Good morning, my friend.

Revelation 3:20 says, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock.”

I have read that verse more times than I could ever count, but this morning I was reminded of just how personal those words really are.

Jesus is standing at the door, and He is knocking.

He is not forcing His way in. He is not kicking the door down. He is simply saying, “I am here. Will you let Me in?”

And maybe that is the word somebody needs this morning.

Life gets busy. Problems get loud. Responsibilities pile up. Before we know it, we can get so caught up in everything going on around us that we miss the gentle knock of Jesus.

But He is still there.

And I love what He says next. If we will open the door, He will come in and fellowship with us.

Think about that. The God who created this whole world desires to spend time with you.

You do not have to have everything figured out. You do not have to get everything cleaned up first. You just need to open the door.

So before you get too far into this day, spend a little time with Jesus. Open His Word. Talk to Him. Listen for His voice.

He is closer than you think.

He is standing at the door.

And He is knocking, will you let Him in?
