There are moments when it all goes dark and there is nothing that I can see.  What I thought I understood makes no sense to me.

The explanations of the world are commonplace and meaningless.  What is left of self is eaten away from the inside-out.

Devoured for no other purpose, other than self indulgent consumption.  Love is tossed around like a cheap pair of shoes.

Relationship is a word that has been emptied of meaning.  And purpose that was once certain is now left looking for a friend.

We are forever hungry, even though we eat all the time.  Never seeing, because the truth we don’t want to admit is that we are blind.

I have no idea where to go or what to do.  I am alone in the middle of nowhere and I am not even sure that I really exist.

Jesus invites us to “Come to Him”.  When we accept this invitation, then we must come with the right spirit.  The right spirit means that we are open to learning new things and new ways. We need to possess an excitement about the change that we are about to experience.

Almost every encounter with Jesus brings us to a place of uncomfortable change, which invites us into a continual newness and excitement.  We cannot have this supernatural life by clinging to our old ways, thoughts and desires.  We instead, must open our hands and heart and let go, as we seek to let our feet walk us into a new and wonderful place that we have never been before.

To seek the face of Jesus with and open mind, surrendered heart and obedient spirit is to embark on an amazing journey of transformation.  Take some time today, right now in fact, to center your thoughts on Jesus.  Let all of that other stuff go and for the next few moment focus on Jesus.

He knows you better than you know yourself and He completely understands you.  He gets you, even when no one else does.  He embraces you with His thoughts and wraps His arms of everlasting love around you to let you know that He’s got you and whatever it is that you are facing.

In case you were wondering?  Yes He does have plans for you – amazing plans.  He wants to prosper and grow you.  He wants to give you a hope that last forever and He has a future that you cannot even begin to dream or imagine.  (Jeremiah 29:11)

Take some time, yes right now – to wrap your arms around Him and the plans He has for your life.  Ask Him to help you to pay attention to Him and not get distracted by the noise of this world.  And enjoy the journey – you will be glad you did!

God is doing some incredible and amazing things.  Almost everyday of my life, I get to personally see, hear, feel, taste and smell the supernatural activity of God.  It’s not that I am some super special and gifted person. It’s just that I am learning that God has pretty much always been active, but I have just not always been tuned into the right channel.

When God began to help me personally see how amazing His grace was and is, it began to develop a passion in me to see other people get it.  The truth that I did not at first want to accept is that religious activity, while it is a good thing that feels good, it is a very poor substitute for the real spiritual relationship that opens the door for daily experience and realization of God’s supernatural activity in and through our lives.

God puts it this way in His Word:  “This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace.”  Colosisans 1:6

The Good News of God’s Amazing Grace that changes our lives is also changing the lives of others all around us, in fact – all around the world.  It is bearing supernatural fruit and changing lives, just as it changed and is changing yours and mine.  The very first day we heard and understood it, it began to do amazing things in and through our lives. And it continues to work in and through our lives still today.

This is the amazing grace of God that has been, is and will continue to work and accomplish the supernatural through our lives. Don’t miss it!  Experience it, share it and grow in it.  To God be the glory!
