Have you ever wondered why God hasn’t changed your situation yet?

You’ve prayed. You’ve waited. You’ve tried to be faithful. And still, nothing seems to be happening.

Listen to 1 Peter 5:6:

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.”

Those last two words are important: due time.

God’s timing is rarely our timing. We want answers now. We want the door to open today. We want the burden lifted immediately. But sometimes God is doing something in us before He does something for us.

Peter says to humble ourselves under God’s mighty hand. In other words, stop trying to control everything and trust the One who already has everything under control.

You may feel overlooked, but God sees you.

You may feel forgotten, but God knows exactly where you are.

You may wonder when your season will change, but God already knows the appointed time.

And remember this: the same mighty hand you are under is the mighty hand that can lift you up.

So don’t force the door.

Don’t rush the process.

Don’t give up because it hasn’t happened yet.

Stay humble. Stay faithful. Keep trusting God.

Your responsibility is faithfulness.

God’s responsibility is the timing.

And when the time is right, you won’t have to promote yourself, prove yourself, or push your way forward.

God Himself will lift you up.

So today, rest under His mighty hand.

Your due time is in His hands.

Press on, my friend. God is not late.

At some point, you have to let go of what you thought should happen and learn to live faithfully in what is happening.

Friend, life does not always unfold the way we planned. The door we expected to open stays closed. The relationship we thought would last comes to an end. The prayer we believed would be answered one way is answered another way.

If we are not careful, we can become so focused on the life we thought we should have that we miss what God is doing in the life we have right now.

Proverbs 3:5–6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

Trusting God means releasing our plans, surrendering our expectations, and believing that He is still working—even when the story looks different from what we imagined.

You cannot change yesterday, and you cannot control tomorrow. But you can choose to be present today. You can love the people God has placed around you. You can be grateful for the blessings in front of you. And you can take the next faithful step.

Let go of what should have been. Embrace where God has you. He is not finished with your story, my friend. Trust Him, stay steady, and press on!

Jesus said in John 8:32, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

We live in a world with more information at our fingertips than any generation before us, but information and truth are not always the same thing.

You can know the headlines and still not know the truth. You can know what everybody is saying and still miss what God has said.

And friend, it is not public opinion that sets you free. It is not popular thinking that sets you free. Jesus said, “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

The devil has always been in the business of selling lies. He will tell you that your past defines you, your failures have finished you, your circumstances control you, and there is no hope for tomorrow.

But God’s truth says something different.

You are not what your past says you are. You are what God says you are.

His Word says there is forgiveness.

His Word says there is grace.

His Word says there is hope.

His Word says there is a new beginning.

Here is the problem. A Bible sitting on the shelf cannot change a life any more than medicine left in the bottle can heal the patient. We must open it, read it, believe it, and live it.

Don’t build your life on feelings because feelings change. Don’t build your life on opinions because opinions change.

Build your life on the Word of God because truth does not change.

So when the lies get loud today, turn up the truth.

Open your Bible. Stand on what God has said. Walk in what God has promised.

Because when you know the Truth, the Truth will make you free.

And friend, whom the Son makes free is free indeed!
