Let It Go!

It’s easy to carry someone else’s words to bed with you.

Good evening, my friend!

Someone once said, “Don’t let people’s compliments get to your head, and don’t let their criticism get to your heart.”

That’s a good word to remember at the end of the day.

Maybe somebody praised you today. Be thankful, but stay humble.

Maybe somebody criticized you. Learn from what’s true, but don’t let their words steal your peace.

Galatians 1:10 reminds us that our ultimate goal isn’t to please people—it’s to please God.

Friend, people’s opinions can change overnight. One day they’re cheering, and the next day they may be complaining.

But God hasn’t changed.

So tonight, you don’t have to replay every conversation, every comment, or every criticism.

Lay it down.

Thank God for the encouragement. Learn from the correction. Release the rest.

Then put your head on that pillow knowing this:

Your worth isn’t determined by somebody else’s opinion of you.

Rest in who God says you are.

Sleep well, my friend.

Tomorrow is another opportunity to walk with Jesus.
