Before you go to bed tonight, don’t let what you’re missing make you forget what God has already given you.
Someone once said, “Abundance is not what you have; it is how grateful you are for what you have.”
We live in a world that constantly tells us we need more to be happy.
More money. More success. More recognition. More things.
But tonight, instead of counting what you don’t have, take a moment to thank God for what you do have.
Thank Him for the roof over your head. The food you ate today. The people who love you.
The strength that carried you through another day. And the grace that met you every step of the way.
First Thessalonians 5:18 says, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
Gratitude may not change your circumstances, but it will change the way you see them.
So before you close your eyes tonight, name three things you are thankful for. You may discover that you are more blessed than you realized.
