Romans 10:14 reminds us of something powerful: God has chosen people to reach people.
“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”
There are people all around us carrying burdens we cannot see. Some are searching for hope. Some are fighting fear. Some are one conversation away from hearing about Jesus in a way that changes their eternity.
And God, in His wisdom, did not leave the message of hope to angels. He placed it into ordinary hearts and ordinary lives like yours and mine.
Sometimes we think we do not have enough knowledge, enough ability, or enough influence to make a difference. But God has always used willing people more than perfect people.
A kind word may open a heart.
A testimony may strengthen a weary soul.
A simple invitation to church may become the turning point in someone’s life.
Never underestimate what God can do through one faithful voice.
I think about sitting on an old front porch and hearing somebody talk about the goodness of God. Those conversations may have seemed small at the time, but they planted seeds that still bear fruit today.
Someone needs to hear what God has done for you.
Someone needs the encouragement only you can give.
Someone needs to hear the name of Jesus.
So today, do not stay silent with your faith. Share hope. Speak life. Tell the story of God’s grace.
Because the Gospel still changes lives, and God still uses people to carry the message.
