“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…” Romans 1:16 (KJV)
There is something bold and steady about those words… “I am not ashamed.”
In a world where people are quick to hide what they believe… to soften it… to blend in… Paul stands up and says, “I’m not backing up, and I’m not toning it down.”
Why?
Because the gospel is not just a message… it is power.
It is the power of God to save a sinner… to change a life… to break chains… to heal hearts… to give hope where there was none.
You don’t have to dress it up.
You don’t have to apologize for it.
You don’t have to improve it.
The gospel works just like it is.
It saved you… and it can save anybody.
That word “power” means divine ability. It is God stepping into a life and doing what no person could ever do on their own.
And notice this… it says “to every one that believeth.”
That means the door is wide open.
It does not matter your past.
It does not matter your failures.
It does not matter how far you’ve gone.
If you will believe… God will save.
So don’t be ashamed of what changed your life.
Speak it.
Live it.
Stand on it.
Because somewhere around you today… somebody needs to hear the very thing that set you free.
