Saved, Forgiven & Living Forever! #scripture #michaeljoeharvell #life #spirituality #bible

Romans 10:9 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

I love the simplicity and the power of that verse. God did not make salvation complicated. He did not make it something only scholars could understand or only perfect people could attain. He made the way plain enough for hurting people, broken people, weary people, and ordinary people like you and me.

Notice what Paul says. It is not just about words spoken from the mouth. It is about faith that rises from the heart. Anybody can repeat a phrase, but when a person truly believes that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again, something changes inside of them forever.

Salvation is not based on how good you have been. It is based on how good Jesus is.

I think about sitting on an old front porch with someone who feels like they have gone too far, made too many mistakes, or wasted too many years. Romans 10:9 reminds us that grace is still available. Jesus still saves. Heaven’s door is still open.

The cross was enough. The resurrection was enough. And faith in Him is enough.

If you have trusted Christ, rejoice today because you are saved by the grace of God. And if you have never trusted Him, this verse is an invitation straight from the heart of God to yours.

Call on Him today. He will save you, forgive you, and change your life forever.
