Infinite Perspective!

Unlimited Supply!

Creation is an amazing thing and the reality that we are created in the image of our creator means that we have opportunity to be creative ourselves, which is really amazing.  We are so much more than just our limited physical bodies.  We are infinite spiritual beings.  The life of our existence flows in, through and all around us.

We need to re-think how we think about things, especially our life, living and eternity.  When we cultivate the awareness of the infinite aspect of who and what we are created to be, then we are able to tap into a limitless source of creativity that produces energy to live powerfully and productively.

Learning to think from an eternal/spiritual perspective opens up opportunities that we could not and would not see by choosing to exist in a limited/physical perspective.  Limited thoughts are produced by the flesh, not by the spirit.

Living in the free flow of the spirit empowers the opening of doors and opportunities.  This does not mean that we will never have problems, but it does mean that we will have solutions to our problems that will enable problems to serve as stepping-stones to something better.

God is everything and has everything, therefore there is no limits with God.  God is the infinite source and supply, He can never run out!  This is why we need to affirm through our thoughts that He is all we need and more.  The right thoughts are instructions to every other part of our being that help to align our lives with the eternal perspective.

You decide with your thinking what you will empower.  This is why it is so important that we guard our thoughts and keep our focus on God and the things of God.  Thoughts produce feelings and feelings become actions, and this is why the right thoughts are so important.

Look around you.  Really look and observe life, not from the limited view of the physical, but from the vantage point of an infinite perspective, because you are not limited, but unlimited as the special spiritual creation of God.  Our goal should be to think as God thinks.  God thinks in terms of eternity, not time.  Rearrange your thinking so that you begin to think, see and understand things, so that your thinking comes into alignment with the One who created you.  Begin to see and understand things from the eternal perspective and you will be amazed at how the rough places become smooth.

Practice silence!  We live in a world that if filled with all types of noise.  It is hard in this world to find silence.  It is even harder to keep silence.  Look for, embrace and protect silence, because from the silence you can give birth to stillness and in stillness you can experience the supernatural.

Remember:  We are nothing, we are everything and our life exist somewhere in the middle!

How To Be Happy!

Trust And Obey

It is interesting to think about how hard so many of us work to obtain happiness, yet it would seem that the harder we work that the more illusive it becomes.  Happiness is not a place that we travel to, it is a gift that comes to us.

We like to think we can work or earn our way, but we cannot because it is not a destination.  It is a gift of fulfilled contentment that comes and provides for us.  Happiness does not come from what you do or what you get, it comes from how you live.  It comes from our learning to live lives of gratitude.  Learn to live a life of gratitude and happiness will flow into and through your life.

God has a plan and He is unfolding that plan into each of our lives.  We can accept or fight against this plan.  Think about this:  For the first nine months of your life .  God took care of you and everything you needed.  He did not require any help or assistance from you.  You did not know what you needed or wanted, but He did and provided for all your needs, so that you would be happy and fulfilled.

We must learn to let go of our desires.  We cheat ourselves by hanging onto personal desires by “desiring” below what God has or wants for us.  He sees things that we cannot see and understands things that we cannot understand.  He not only knows what is best for us, He wants what is best for us.

Turn it all over to our Creator and acknowledge that He is more than just our Creator.  Practice doing nothing, not to be lazy, but to stop activity for activity sake.  Watch and listen for His guidance as you allow His vision, strength and perfection to work on and through you.

Seek to live in submissive obedience to God and the plans that He has for your life and life will take on a whole new meaning and you will live in a place called blessed!

Sunday Rewind!

Today was one of those special days where it all just comes together and God reassures you that you are on the path that He marked for you.

Started out the morning with a short meditation time, sweet devotional and energizing prayer.  It was better than good!

Enjoyed Bible Study in Colossians 3.  It seems like we have been in these verses for quiet a while, but the Spirit continues to teach us some really good stuff.

Worship was nice – back up on the new stage and everything looked really great.  David & Tonja did a great job with the refirb.  And the praise team was alive with praise.

Message came from Matthew 3:13-17 and I felt the most freedom I’ve felt in a long time.  Felt like a new and better old me!  😉  Three main points of the message:  1.) There will always be distractions – deal with them God’s way.  2.) Our goal should always be the righteous requirements of God.  3.) The Spirit provides the confirmation we need.

It’s important to remember that we fulfill a big part of our created purpose when We bring God joy and we bring God joy by living in obedient submission.

This afternoon and evening, God reminded me that Jesus loves everybody – especially those that others would classify as unloveable.  I sure do have some growing and improving to do.

Fellowship tonight was sweet and I really felt that I got to grow a little in some of my relationships.  Was extra blessed to have Tom Capps our Director of Missions stop by for some fellowship and Keith Mincey from Easley to share in a little family time.

As usual, it’s sometimes hard to believe that God let’s me be a part of His amazing work, but I sure am glad He does!  Hope you have a blessed and growing week!
