Have you ever wondered if God has forgotten about you?

Maybe you’ve prayed, waited, prayed some more…and nothing seems to be changing.

Isaiah 49:15 says, “Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.”

Friend, silence doesn’t mean absence.

Just because you can’t see God working doesn’t mean God isn’t working.

Think about a seed buried beneath the ground. From the surface, nothing appears to be happening. But underneath the soil, something is taking place that you cannot see.

Sometimes God works the same way in our lives.

You may be waiting on an answer.

Waiting on a door to open.

Waiting on somebody you love to come home.

Waiting on your circumstances to change.

And you’re wondering, “God, have You forgotten me?”

No.

God sees you.

God knows where you are.

God hears your prayers.

And God is working in ways you may not understand yet.

So don’t mistake God’s delay for God’s denial, and don’t mistake His silence for His absence.

Keep praying.

Keep trusting.

Keep walking.

Because the God who has carried you this far hasn’t forgotten you now.

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” — Genesis 1:3

Have you ever walked into a dark room and turned on the light?

The darkness doesn’t argue.

It doesn’t fight back.

It simply has to leave.

Genesis 1 begins with the earth covered in darkness. Everything was without form and void. But then something happened.

God spoke.

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

Friend, never underestimate what can happen when God speaks!

Maybe there’s an area of your life that feels dark right now.

Maybe you can’t see what’s ahead.

Maybe you don’t understand what God is doing.

Maybe you’ve been praying for direction, an answer, or just enough light to take the next step.

Remember this:

God does some of His greatest work in places that look completely dark to us.

Before God changed what the world looked like, He spoke into what looked like chaos.

And the same God who said, “Let there be light,” is still speaking today.

His Word can bring light to your confusion.

Hope to your discouragement.

Direction to your uncertainty.

And peace to your troubled heart.

You don’t have to see the whole road today.

You just need enough light for the next step.

So open His Word. Listen for His voice. Trust His direction.

“Your talent is God’s gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.”

Friend, God has placed something special inside of you.

Maybe you can sing, teach, build, organize, encourage, cook, create, lead, listen, or simply make people feel loved. Your gift may never put your name in lights, but when it is surrendered to God, it can bring light into somebody’s darkness.

First Peter 4:10 says, “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another.”

Notice that the Bible says every person has received a gift. That includes you!

Your talent is not an accident. It is a God-given opportunity to serve others and bring glory to Him.

But gifts were never meant to remain unopened. Talent must be developed. Ability must be used. Opportunity must be embraced.

Don’t waste your time comparing your gift to somebody else’s. God didn’t ask you to be them. He asked you to be faithful with what He placed in your hands.

You may not believe your contribution is important, but somebody needs what God has given you.

So use your voice. Share your story. Offer your hands. Open your heart. Serve where you are, with what you have, while you can.

Your talent is God’s gift to you.

Using it for His glory is your gift back to Him.
