What If It All Works Out?

What if the same mind that imagines everything going wrong could begin believing that God is working everything for good?

I recently read this quote: “If you can overthink the worst, why can’t you overthink the best?”

Isn’t it amazing how quickly our minds can create problems that have not even happened? We replay every conversation, imagine every bad outcome, and worry about situations that may never come to pass.

But Philippians 4:8 tells us, “Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely… think on these things.”

God is not asking us to ignore reality or pretend that difficulties do not exist. He is reminding us that fear does not deserve control of our thoughts.

Instead of repeatedly asking, “What if everything goes wrong?” begin asking, “What if God makes a way? What if this door opens? What if healing comes? What if the answer is closer than I think?”

You may not know what tomorrow holds, but you know the One who holds tomorrow. God has already gone before you, and nothing you face will catch Him by surprise.

My friend, stop giving the worst-case scenario the most attention. Fill your mind with God’s promises, remember His past faithfulness, and trust Him with what comes next.

Something good may be closer than you think. Keep believing, keep trusting, and keep looking up. God is still working!
