Romans 5:8 says, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

One of the most amazing truths in all the Bible is this: God did not wait for us to get our life together before He loved us.

He loved us at our worst.

-He loved us when we were broken.

-He loved us when we were running from Him.

-He loved us when we had failed, fallen, and made a mess of things.

Most people love because of what they see in someone. But God loves because of who He is.

The cross is proof that you are loved beyond measure.

Jesus did not go to Calvary because we deserved it. He went because mercy stepped in where judgment belonged. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

That means you never have to wonder if God loves you. The nails settled that question forever.

Maybe today you feel unworthy, ashamed, or distant from God. Remember this: His love reaches farther than your failure.

You may have given up on yourself, but God has not given up on you.

The same grace that saved you is the grace that will sustain you.

So lift your head today and walk in the confidence that you are deeply loved by a Savior who chose the cross for you.
