Walking in Step with the Spirit!

“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Galatians 5:25 (KJV)

There is a difference between being alive… and truly living.

Paul reminds us here that if we live in the Spirit—if we have been made alive by the power of God—then there ought to be a walk that matches that life.

In other words, what’s on the inside should begin to show up on the outside.

The Christian life is not just a moment of salvation… it is a daily step of surrender.

“Let us also walk in the Spirit.”

That word “walk” carries the idea of staying in step… like a soldier marching in rhythm, or a child walking hand in hand with their father. It is not about rushing ahead, and it is not about lagging behind. It is about keeping pace with God.

And here is the beauty of it—God never asks you to walk where He has not already given you life.

If you are saved, the Spirit already lives within you.

The question is not, “Do you have the Spirit?”

The question is, “Is the Spirit leading your steps?”

Every day, we are faced with choices.

Will I follow my flesh… or will I follow His leading?

Will I react… or will I respond?

Will I go my way… or God’s way?

Walking in the Spirit is not complicated—but it is intentional.

It is waking up and saying, “Lord, guide my steps today.”

It is pausing before you speak.

It is listening when He nudges your heart.

It is obeying even when it is not easy.

And step by step… moment by moment… you begin to see something beautiful.

Your attitude changes.

Your responses soften.

Your life begins to reflect Him.

You do not have to strive to become something you are not.

If you are in Christ, you are already alive in the Spirit.

Now just walk with Him.

Stay close.

Stay sensitive.

Stay surrendered.

Because when you walk in the Spirit… you will never walk alone.
