Wake Up!

Look around you! There is so much to see in this great big human experience. Look around with your physical eyes and you will be amazed at all you can see, just by looking. Learn to look around with your spiritual eyes and you will be empowered to live life on a totally different level.

It is very true that there is more to this ole world than meets the eye. And we can see this, participate in it and grow in amazing ways through it, if we will allow ourselves the opportunity to see through and beyond the veil of flesh.

For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. -Galatians 6:8

To move from physical vision to spiritual vision is to be AWAKENED. To be awakened is to enable ordinary you and me to be and do the extraordinary. Once we make the decision to move beyond the delusions of the physical world, we tap into the spiritual and begin to live the real life we were created for.

Wake up to the reality that you were created for so much more than what you have been settling for. Wake up to the fact that you are a spiritual being getting to have a huan experience, not a human being looking for a spiritual experience. Wake up to the power in you, around you and through you. And start using this power of love for blessing. You will be amazed and amazing at the same time and that my friends is definitely something worth waking up for…

Lighten Your Load!

Growing up in church helps you to get really good at using big and fancy spiritual words in order to try and express yourself as you seek to impress others. Most of the words we learn are pretty cool sounding and imply some sort of superiority, simply because we know them and can say them. Truth be told, many of the words we learned and use are words that we have no idea or concept of what they really mean, even though we have convinced ourselves that we do.

I heard someone the other day talking about experiencing “enlightenment” and knowing this person the way I do, it got me to wondering do they possibly have any clue as to what the word really means?

Enlightenment involves a moment where we step away from the flesh and into spirit. Enlightenment encourages us to take on and take out the temptations of the ego, so we may be truly free to experience unity with our Creator. Enlightenment is spiritual awarness and has as it’s byproducts: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness and self-control…

For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. -1 Corinthians 2:11

When we are “enlightened”, we are no longer worried about or distracted by blame and who gets it or who gives it. We are more concerned with the blessings we are able to share with others, which contribute to enlightenment overall. We are not anxious about the dark, because we have become light, which illuminates the darkness and chases the shadows away. We do not know fear, because perfect loves drives out fear.

Enlightenment is a connection of heart, mind and spirit that opens the Heavens to release miracles to flow into and through our lives. Enlightenment is about an ongoing transformation that changes every part of my life – body, mind and spirit.

So let’s do more than just know about the word, let’s really get to know it, feel it, embrace it, live it and then we can share it. And isn’t that what it’s all really about anyway???

Peace Of Mind!

The mind is a very powerful thing. With our mind, we can make or break life. We can give into the limits of the flesh or tap into the unlimited power of our Creator. This is very often a battle we find ourself engaged in and rather than fight our way through it, any times we just give up with the attitude that “this is just life!”

But, it’s not just life, unless we choose for it to be. We have the power, if we are willing to utilize it. We will either control our mind or our mind will control us. When our mind connects with it’s Creator, we have the potential to be positive, creative and intuitive, which leads to our growing and being a blessing.

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. -Colossians 3:2

By allowing our mind to connect with Spirit, we are making a choice to not give up control, but to take control back with God’s help to make our mind and His mind one. To set our mind is to make a choice in the direction that we are going to allow it to be empowered.

God is love and when m mind becomes love, I am invited to be a co-creator with the great “I AM” and I am destined for breakthroughs, miracles and blessings as I learn to walk with confidence through God’s mercy, grace and love. This is a beautiful thing!

When we allow our ind to connect and yield to God’s Spirit, we are able to take on and take out the wrong, self defeating and limiting thoughts of this world we live in. Our mind can be a worst enemy or a best friend. When we train our I’d to see, understand and act as our Creator, the dimension of the miraculous opens up and the unexplainable begins to manifest in incredible and breath taking ways.
