Walk Like Jesus Walked!

1 John 2:6 (KJV) says, “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.”

There is a big difference between talking about Jesus and truly walking with Jesus. John reminds us that if we claim to belong to Christ, our lives ought to reflect His life. Our words, our attitudes, our actions, and even how we treat difficult people should point others to Him.

Jesus walked in love when others hated Him. He walked in humility when He could have demanded glory. He walked in obedience to the Father, even when that path led to the cross. He forgave those who wronged Him, showed compassion to the broken, and never stopped doing what was right.

Now, none of us walk perfectly. We all stumble. We all have moments when we fall short. But the direction of our lives should be toward Jesus. Every day we should desire to love a little more like Him, forgive a little more like Him, and trust the Father a little more like Him.

The Christian life is not simply believing certain truths. It is allowing Christ to shape the way we live. The greatest testimony you may ever give is not found in what you say, but in how you walk.

So today, ask yourself this simple question: If someone followed me around for a day, would they see Jesus in me? That is not a question of perfection. It is a question of direction.

Walk with Him today. Step by step, choice by choice, day by day. And as you do, others will see Christ shining through your life.
