What Do You Think God Is Doing While You’re Waiting!

“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.” -Psalm 27:14 (KJV)

Waiting is one of the hardest things we do as believers.

We pray, and we want answers now. We face challenges, and we want solutions immediately. We carry burdens, and we want God to remove them today. Yet David reminds us in Psalm 27:14 that some of God’s greatest work happens while we are waiting.

Waiting does not mean God has forgotten you. Waiting does not mean God is ignoring your prayers. Often, waiting means God is preparing something greater than you can currently see.

Notice the promise in this verse: “He shall strengthen thine heart.” While we wait, God works. He builds our faith, deepens our trust, and develops our character. The delay may be difficult, but it is never wasted when it is placed in God’s hands.

Perhaps today you are waiting for healing, direction, restoration, or an answered prayer. Do not lose heart. God is still on His throne. His timing is perfect, His plans are good, and His promises are sure.

So take courage today. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep believing.

The God who has been faithful in the past will be faithful again.

Wait on the Lord. Your breakthrough may be closer than you think.
