Don’t Trade God’s Approval For Man’s Applause!

Matthew 5:10 (KJV) — “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Doing the right thing is not always easy.

There are times when following Jesus will cost you something. It may cost you popularity. It may cost you opportunities. It may even cost you relationships. Not everyone will understand your commitment to Christ, and some may criticize or oppose you because of it.

Yet Jesus gives us an incredible promise in Matthew 5:10. He says that those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake are blessed. Think about that. The world often sees opposition as a sign of failure, but Jesus says it can be evidence that you are walking faithfully with Him.

The goal of the Christian life is not to please everyone. The goal is to please God.

If you are standing for truth, living with integrity, sharing your faith, and honoring Christ, do not be discouraged when you face resistance. God sees your faithfulness. He knows your heart. He has not forgotten your sacrifice.

Remember, every believer who has made a difference for God’s kingdom has faced opposition at some point. Keep praying. Keep loving. Keep serving. Keep standing.

The approval of God is worth far more than the applause of people.

Stand strong today. Heaven is keeping score, and God honors those who remain faithful.
