God Grows!

1 Corinthians 3:7 says, “So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.”

That is a powerful reminder for every one of us who has ever felt discouraged because we could not see results fast enough.

We live in a world that measures everything by numbers, recognition, and visible success. But God reminds us that our responsibility is faithfulness, not fruitfulness. The farmer plants the seed. Someone else may water it. But only God can make it grow.

There are seasons in life when you feel like you are pouring into people, praying for loved ones, serving faithfully, witnessing, encouraging, and trying to do what is right… yet nothing seems to be changing. But do not mistake silence for inactivity. God is always working beneath the surface.

A seed under the ground may look forgotten, but it is actually developing roots.

Sometimes we become frustrated because we want instant harvests, but God often works slowly, deeply, and intentionally. Your prayers matter. Your obedience matters. Your kindness matters. Your faithfulness matters.

You may not see the increase today, but God sees every seed you have planted.

So keep planting.Keep watering.Keep praying.Keep serving.

And trust God with the increase.

Because when God gets ready for growth to come, no force on earth can stop what He decides to bless.

You Still Have A Chance! #scripture #michaeljoeharvell #life #spirituality #bible

Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

That verse is one of the clearest invitations in all of Scripture. Notice that God did not place conditions around His love by saying only certain people could come. He said, “whosoever.” That means anyone, anywhere, at any time can call on Him and be saved.

Many people spend their lives trying to earn peace with God through good works, religion, or personal effort. But salvation is not something you achieve. It is something you receive by faith in Jesus Christ.

When you call upon the Lord, you are acknowledging that you cannot save yourself and that Jesus Christ alone is sufficient. You are placing your trust completely in Him—His death, His resurrection, and His power to forgive and restore.

And here is the wonderful truth: God always responds to a sincere heart. He does not turn away the person who comes to Him in humility and faith.

Perhaps today you feel burdened by guilt, failure, or regret. Maybe you wonder if God could ever forgive you. This verse answers that question once and for all. The door of grace is still open.

Call upon Him today. Speak honestly to Him. Trust Him completely. The Lord is faithful to save, to forgive, and to give you the assurance that you belong to Him.

That is not merely hope for someday. That is peace you can experience right now.

Time For A Change!

Acts 2:38 says, “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins…”

Now listen carefully, because this verse is not just a command, it is an invitation to a brand-new life.

Peter was preaching to people whose hearts had been broken open by conviction. They realized they needed God. They realized sin had left them empty, guilty, and separated. And when they asked, “What shall we do?” Peter pointed them straight to Jesus.

Repent.

That word simply means to turn around. It means you stop running from God and start running toward Him. It is not just feeling sorry for sin. It is surrendering your heart to the Savior.

And notice this: Peter did not tell them they were too far gone. He did not say they had missed their chance. He pointed them to forgiveness.

That is the heart of the Gospel.

No matter what your past looks like, Jesus Christ still saves. He still forgives. He still changes lives.

There are people carrying shame today that Jesus already paid for at Calvary. There are people trying to clean themselves up before coming to God, when God says, “Come just as you are.”

Repentance is not the end of your story. It is the beginning of your freedom.

And the same Jesus who changed hearts in Acts chapter 2 is still changing hearts today.

So if God is dealing with your heart, do not resist Him.Turn to Him.Trust Him.And discover the joy of sins forgiven and a life made new.
