Your Problem Is The Problem!

In my conversations with people, one of the reoccurring themes seems to be a continual battle with problems, but when we actually start to try and break it down, most of the time the problem falls apart. This is because usually our problem is our problem.

Whenever a difficulty, challenge, frustration or disappointment comes our way, we tend to inflate it, empower it and enlarge it, so that we miss what it’s real purpose is.

A problem is like a warning light on the dash of your vehicle. It’s a warning that something needs to be paid attention to. If your check engine light comes on in your car, then it usually means you need to check the oil, fluids or air in the tires. Something somewhere is not working as it should and requires your attention to be fixed back to normal.

This is true in our life. When we have a problem, it is usually a warning light that we have drifted away from Spirit and are relying too much on the physical or the mental. Remember life is made up of physical, mental and spiritual. I find that most of the time, my ego has written a check that my life can’t cash and I am way out of balance.

Romans 5:3-5 says that we are to “Glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”

So, the big question: How Do We Fix This? And I am going to give you what I think is the easiest and quickest fix. Are your ready for it? Whatever problem you are facing, the easiest and quickest fix is to refocus on love. We were created by love and for love and when we are out of balance, we need to return to love.

The answers you are searching for, that you may not even be aware you are searching for??? The answers can be found in receiving and sharing love. I like to call this “the flow”. When we receive and share love, it creates a flow so the supernatural can flow into and through our life and this is what we were created for. Reconnection with out created purpose realigns our life and problems disappear.

The flow of love helps me to be honest with myself. It helps me to look within myself for the answers . The answers are found wherever there is a lack of love, forgiveness or acceptance. When love reveals these answers and I accept them, then I am lifted above my problem to a higher place and the wisdom and truth of our Creator guides and directs me to the perfect place of love where I find healing and wholeness.

Stop playing the blame game, look within yourself and discover the power of love and it’s amazing ability to set you free from problems. Accept the supernatural healing that comes from the flow of love into and through our lives. And enjoy the blessings that manifests, when you live at that perfect place of alignment where spirit, mind and body work to fulfill their created purpose.

Filled Up!

“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.”  Romans 5:3-5

Fillerup!

No one likes trials and troubles, but everyone has them and while we don’t like them, it helps to know that when we do, there is a purpose.  The Scripture teaches us that we can rejoice and be happy when we face the challenges of life, because the challenges are helping us to develop and grow endurance.

Endurance is the ability to remain active and productive even when facing adverse conditions.  It is the picture of something that lasts, regardless of time.  As we face trials and troubles, God is using the problems to develop endurance in our lives.  We can rejoice because this endurance develops character.

Character is the moral and ethical traits that make you uniquely who you are.  Someone has said that character is who you are when no one else is looking.  As we endure trials, we develop character. And our character as it grows and develops produces hope.

Hope is a feeling that things are going to be better.  Our hope is in our salvation and the relationship that it makes possible with our Creator.  This relationship is based in the love of a Creator for His creation.  This love is grown in the relationship of trust, which is strengthened in hope of an even brighter tomorrow.  This day and every day after this, is possible, because of our relationship with, to and through the Holy Spirit, who fills our hearts with the amazing and blessed love of our most awesome friend and Creator…

Take some time today, even in the midst of challenges to let Him fill you up with His Spirit!

Got Any Problems?

"All God's Children Got Problems!"Problems! Do you ever have any problems?  I know that’s a crazy question.  Of course, we all have problems!  God has been showing me some things about problems as I have been working through some of my own problems.  I hope my thinking out loud in this blog might help you with any problems that you might have!

Here are a few of the things that I have learned about problems:

I have learned that problems are everywhere! There is no place that you and I can go on this earth to escape problems.  The lesson to learn:  You can’ t run away from a problem, because as you run out of one, you will run into another!

I have learned that everyone has problems! It does not matter how much money you have or don’t have.  It does not matter how smart or dumb you may happen to be.  It does not matter which side of the tracks you live on.  No one is immune!  “I got problems, you got problems, all God’s children got problems!”

I have learned that problems don’t just go away! We have to work on them and through them!  A problem worked through can make us better, stronger and more effective.  A problem ignored can make us bitter, weaker and render us ineffective!  Don’t ignore your problem – deal with it!

I have learned that all problems have a solution! Some solutions come quickly and easily, while others take time and hard work.  If we will work for the solution, then God will use our problems to take us to a place of growth and blessing.

Here are a few steps to help you work on and through your problems! 1.) Talk To God! I am not talking about just going through the motions.  I am talking about really having a conversation with your Creator and Sustainer.  God loves you and He has an amazing plan for your life.  You will be amazed at how taking a little time to talk with Him can reveal solutions to so many things that you are facing!  2.) Don’t Give Up! As I look back on my life, I can see many times where I was just one decision away from break-through, but because I gave up and gave in – my problem got the best of me, instead of me getting the best of it!  Stay with it, work through – you will be glad that you did!  3.) Stay Focused! One of the biggest challenges to my working on and through my problems is all of the distractions that life seems to want to throw my way.  Know your problem and do whatever it takes to get through it!

You Can Do This! You can do this, because you are God’s special Creation.  Your life matters and you can make more of a difference than you know or realize.  So when your problem smacks you up side the head today – take it on, take it out and grow on to the next thing!
