Alive Again!

Ezekiel 37:5 says, “Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live.” What a promise! God looked at a valley full of dry, dead bones—hopeless, brittle, scattered—and He spoke life where there was no life. That’s what He still does today.

Maybe you feel like your hope is dried up, your dreams are scattered, or your faith is running thin. But the same God who spoke into that valley is speaking over you. He’s the One who can breathe life into your weary soul, restore strength to your broken heart, and raise up what you thought was gone forever.

Charles Spurgeon once said, “Hope itself is like a star—not to be seen in the sunshine of prosperity, but only to be discovered in the night of adversity.” Friend, if you’re in a night season, take heart—God is still the Author of life. When He breathes, dead things rise.

So today, stand tall in faith. The valley you’re in isn’t the end of your story. God’s breath is coming, His Spirit is moving, and you will live again!

Prayer Changes Things!

Friend, James 5:16 says, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” That’s not just a pretty phrase—it’s a promise. Prayer isn’t throwing words up into the sky, hoping something sticks. Prayer is calling on the God of heaven who hears, who cares, and who moves when His children cry out.

Now notice those two words: effectual and fervent. That means prayer that works and prayer that burns. It’s not casual, distracted mumbling—it’s prayer that comes from the heart, soaked in faith, fueled by persistence, and anchored in God’s Word.

Maybe today you feel powerless, but prayer plugs you into God’s power. Maybe you feel unheard, but prayer reminds you that heaven’s ear is bent toward you. Maybe you feel stuck, but prayer is the key that unlocks chains.

So don’t give up. Don’t let your knees grow weary. The devil trembles when God’s people pray. Friend, if you’ve got a burden today, take it straight to Jesus—because the Bible says it still works, and it still changes things.

The Door Is About To Open!

Friend, let me give you a word today from Matthew 7:7 — “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

That verse is more than a memory verse for Sunday School — it’s a promise from the very lips of Jesus. He’s telling us that God’s blessings are not locked away behind a door we can’t reach. They are available, but we’ve got to ask, we’ve got to seek, and we’ve got to knock.

Sometimes we sit back waiting for heaven to drop blessings in our lap, but Jesus is calling us to lean in with faith. Prayer is the asking. Persistence is the seeking. Boldness is the knocking. And behind it all is a Father who delights in opening doors for His children.

So don’t give up on that prayer you’ve been praying. Don’t quit seeking God’s direction when the road feels cloudy. Don’t stop knocking just because the door hasn’t swung wide yet. Keep on asking, keep on seeking, keep on knocking — because the God who loves you is listening, guiding, and ready to open the door in His perfect timing.

Today, take courage: your Father hears every whisper, sees every search, and responds to every knock.
