Rivers Of Living Water!

“He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” -John 7:38

There is something powerful about the word flow.

Jesus did not say a trickle of living water. He did not say a small cup or a limited supply. He said rivers.

Rivers are constant. Rivers move. Rivers bring life wherever they go.

Many people today feel dry on the inside. Life has a way of draining our strength, wearing down our joy, and leaving our hearts thirsty for something more. We try to fill that emptiness with busyness, success, or even the approval of others, but nothing seems to satisfy for very long.

Jesus reminds us that the answer is not found in something we achieve, but in Someone we trust.

When we truly believe on Christ, He places something within us that the world cannot give and cannot take away. His Spirit becomes a well of strength when we feel weak. A source of peace when life feels uncertain. A steady stream of hope when circumstances seem dry.

Notice this living water does not just stay in us. It flows from us. God never intended His work in our life to stop with us. He fills us so we can encourage others. He strengthens us so we can lift others. He comforts us so we can bring comfort to those around us.

If you feel empty today, come back to the source.

Believe again. Trust again. Draw near again.

Because when Christ fills your life, what flows out of you will bring life to others.

Do You Believe Prayer Changes Things?

“For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” -Matthew 7:8

Sometimes life can make us feel like heaven is quiet.

You pray… and the answer doesn’t come as quickly as you hoped.

You seek… but clarity seems just out of reach.

You knock… yet the door still looks closed.

But Jesus reminds us that prayer is not a gamble… it is a promise.

God does not tell us to ask because He is reluctant… He tells us to ask because He is ready.

He does not invite us to seek because He is hiding… He invites us to seek because He desires to be found.

And He does not encourage us to knock because the door is locked forever… He encourages us to knock because the door is already being opened in His perfect time.

Faith keeps asking when feelings say stop.

Hope keeps seeking when circumstances say quit.

Trust keeps knocking when the hallway feels long.

Sometimes the delay is not denial… it is preparation.

God is shaping your heart while He is arranging your answer.

Keep praying.

Keep trusting.

Keep believing.

Because the same Savior who made the promise… is the One who keeps it.

Ask… because God hears.

Seek… because God cares.

Knock… because God is already working on the other side of the door.

Do You Ever Feel Sorry?

“For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.” -2 Corinthians 7:10 (KJV)

There is a kind of sorrow that hurts… but heals.

Most of us try to avoid sorrow at all costs. We distract ourselves. We justify ourselves. We explain away what we know deep down needs to change. But the Bible tells us there is a sorrow that actually becomes a doorway to freedom.

Godly sorrow is not meant to crush you. It is meant to correct you.

It is that gentle conviction of the Holy Spirit that says, “This is not the path I have for you.” It is the loving nudge of a Heavenly Father who cares too much about you to let you continue in something that will ultimately harm you.

The world’s sorrow leads to regret, shame, and staying stuck. It keeps you looking backward, replaying mistakes, and feeling like you will never be enough.

But godly sorrow does something entirely different. It turns your heart toward God. It produces repentance — a change of direction. It moves you from guilt to grace, from brokenness to restoration, from wandering to walking with Him again.

Friend, if God is speaking to your heart today, do not run from it. Lean into it. Because when God reveals something, it is never to condemn you — it is always to redeem you.

Conviction is evidence that God has not given up on you.

And when you respond to Him, you will discover that what first felt painful becomes the very thing that leads you back to peace.

Sometimes the road to joy begins with an honest moment before God.
