My name is Michael Joe Harvell, and I live my life with one simple mission: to glorify God, encourage people, and leave this world a little better than I found it. When Faith Flows Like A River!

“But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.” -Amos 5:24 (KJV)

Friend, God has always been more interested in the condition of our hearts than the appearance of our religion. In the days of Amos, the people were going through the motions of worship. They sang the songs, offered the sacrifices, and observed the ceremonies. Yet God looked beyond all of that and said, “Let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.”

In other words, God desires lives that reflect His character every single day. He wants justice that is fair, compassion that is genuine, and righteousness that is not occasional, but constant—like a river that never runs dry.

I believe one of the greatest testimonies a Christian can have is not simply what we say on Sunday, but how we live on Monday. It is choosing honesty when dishonesty would be easier. It is showing kindness when others are unkind. It is standing for what is right even when it is unpopular.

The beautiful truth is this: God does not ask us to produce this kind of life in our own strength. As we walk closely with Jesus, His Spirit shapes our hearts and causes His righteousness to flow through us.

So today, ask yourself this simple question: Is God’s love flowing through my life like a mighty stream? If not, draw near to Him. The closer you are to Jesus, the more His grace, His goodness, and His righteousness will overflow into every area of your life.

And friend, a life that flows with God’s righteousness is a life that makes an eternal difference.

Difficult Roads Often Lead to Beautiful Destinations!


Friend, I know there are seasons when the road feels longer than you expected. The climb is steep. The burdens are heavy. And you wonder if all the struggle is really worth it.


But I have discovered something through the years: God often does His greatest work on the most difficult roads.


Joseph’s road led through a pit and a prison before it led to a palace. David’s road wound through lonely fields and dangerous valleys before he became king. Even our Savior walked the road to Calvary before the glory of the resurrection.


The difficult road is not evidence that God has abandoned you. Sometimes it is proof that He is preparing you.


The tears you shed today may water the blessings you will enjoy tomorrow. The lessons you are learning in this season may become the testimony that encourages someone else. And the strength God is building within you will carry you farther than you ever imagined.


So do not give up. Do not lose hope. Keep trusting God one step at a time. Keep praying when you do not understand. Keep believing when circumstances tell you otherwise.


Because our God is faithful. He never wastes a hurt. He never abandons His children. And He is already preparing a beautiful destination beyond this difficult road.


Walk on, friend. God is not finished with your story yet.
