Have not done one of these in a while, but wanted to share a few quick thoughts before I headed into dream land about some of the blessings that I encountered today…

-Beautiful morning and a great personal time with God.  There is nothing that can take the place of personal time with God.  I have been spending time with God every morning for a whole lotta years and it makes more of a difference than most anything I can tell you about.

-I really love to see God’s plan come together.  I have my plans and I enjoying when they experience some success, but more important than my plans are the plans of God and I have to confess that a lot of times, I don’t have a clue!  I am just holding on for the ride and what a ride He seems to want to always take us on.

-Tailgate Worship was amazing this morning.  Looking up at the blue sky’s with the warm sun coming down to kiss my face as I lifted up my praise to my God was just sweet.  The fellowship is automatic and often amazes me at how effortless it seems for most of us.

-The people who God is bringing together is incredible.  The variety of people who God is assembling to be a part of sharing His grace is often mind-boggling to me.  I sometimes stand back and scratch my head and just wonder at His wonder.

-The way that so many of us just like being together is another thing that I have really found to be a blessing.  Children, youth, adults of all ages come together and just enjoying being with each other.  We lose track of time, because we really do like worshipping, working, growing, sharing, fellowshipping and just being together.

-God has done some amazing things.  God is doing some amazing things.  God is going to do some amazing things and I am thankful that I get to be a part!

Jesus said: Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteouness and all these things shall he added unto you.  Mattew 6:33

This is not what we do.  This is not our natural reaction.  We need to seek God and His righteouness first, but often look to everything else but, God and we depend on our limited human power, instead of the perfect and righteous power of God.

Our life here on this planet is not about our life here on this planet.  Our life is about eternity and this means that it is about so much more than what most of us are living for.

Take time today to focus on your spirit, who you really are.  Contemplate your purpose and get excited about all the possibilities and potential.  You are a spiritual being, created in the image of God, who gets to experience this human life.  Drink in the reality of who you are and the privildge and unique opportunity of this moment.

Human experience is a gift to be opened, not a burden to bear.  May our Creator bless you with wisdom and growth as you seek Him and His ways.
