Don’t Put Joy On Hold!

Good evening, my friend. Problems will always exist. Some days we solve one thing, only to find another waiting for us. But we don’t have to put life on hold until every problem is gone. We can keep trusting God, keep doing what needs to be done, and still notice the blessings He has placed in our day.

Jesus said in John 16:33, “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

He didn’t promise a life without trouble. He promised we would never face trouble without Him.

So take the next step. Handle what you can today, ask God for wisdom, and leave what you cannot control in His hands. Make room for a thankful heart, a kind word, a laugh with someone you love, and a quiet moment with the Lord.

You can work through a hard season without letting it steal every good thing in your life. God is with you in the middle of it.

Reap What You Sow!

You can’t expect a harvest from seed you were never willing to sow.

Good morning, my friend!

2 Corinthians 9:6 says, “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”

Paul gives us a simple principle: you cannot reap what you refuse to sow.

And this goes far beyond money.

Sow encouragement, and you may be surprised how encouragement comes back around.

Sow kindness, even when people aren’t kind to you.

Sow forgiveness, even when holding a grudge feels easier.

Sow your time into people who need somebody to care.

Sow the Gospel into somebody who needs to hear about Jesus.

Friend, sometimes we hold back because we’re afraid we won’t have enough.

But God never asked us to be the source. He asked us to be faithful with what He has placed in our hands.

A farmer doesn’t stare at a bag of seed and pray for a harvest. At some point, he has to open the bag and start sowing!

So here’s your challenge today:

Find one person you can bless.

Send the text.
Make the call.
Give the encouragement.
Offer the help.
Share Jesus.

Don’t hold back the seed God has placed in your hand.

Sow generously.

Love generously.

Live generously.

And trust God with the harvest!

Take The Next Step!

“The distance between what you want and what you get is what you do.”

That’s a powerful reminder, friend. We can have good intentions, big dreams, and prayers for a better tomorrow, but sooner or later, we have to take a step.

The Bible says, “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.” — Ecclesiastes 9:10

You may not be able to change everything today, but you can do one thing. Make that phone call. Open your Bible. Take the first step toward healing. Offer forgiveness. Keep showing up, even when progress feels slow.

Don’t let fear convince you that small steps don’t matter. Every faithful step moves you closer to where God is leading you.

So today, don’t just wish for change. Do the next right thing. Trust God with the outcome, and keep moving forward.
