Before your trouble ever started, Jesus already was. And whatever you face today, you will never face something that existed before Him!

Good morning, my friend!

John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

That Word is Jesus. John reminds us that Jesus did not begin His existence in a manger in Bethlehem. Before there was a sunrise, before the mountains stood tall, before the first heartbeat, He was already there. Jesus is eternal, and Jesus is God.

Now, here’s why that matters to you and me. When we pray, we’re talking to the One whose wisdom reaches beyond everything we can see. Nothing catches Him by surprise.

Maybe you woke up today with questions you cannot answer or a burden you cannot explain. My friend, you don’t have to understand everything to bring it to Jesus.

The One who was there in the beginning is able to meet you right here, in the middle of your story.

That doesn’t mean every problem disappears today. It means you have Someone to trust while you take the next step.

So before you give your worries the first word this morning, open God’s Word. Read this verse slowly. Then pray, “Jesus, You were here before this trouble. Help me trust You through it.”
