DARKNESS LOST ITS HOLD!

Why let yesterday’s darkness tell you who you are when Jesus has already brought you into His kingdom?

Good morning, my friend!

Colossians 1:13 says, “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.”

Did you catch that? God hath delivered us! If you belong to Jesus, darkness no longer has the final say over your life. You belong to a new King!

Now, that doesn’t mean you won’t have difficult days. Temptation still comes knocking. Old memories still hurt. And sometimes the struggles you thought you had overcome show up again.

But a struggle doesn’t mean you haven’t been rescued. It means you need to remember whose you are and depend on His strength.

Your past may explain where you’ve been, but it doesn’t get to decide where God can take you. Your failures are not your master. Jesus is!

My friend, you don’t have to earn your way into the love of the One who rescued you. You can face this day knowing you belong to Him.

So here’s your challenge: Identify one place where you’ve been letting fear, shame, or an old habit direct your steps. Bring it to God in prayer, then take one obedient step today. Ask for help. Refuse that temptation. Believe what His Word says about you.

You belong to Jesus. Let that truth shape how you live today!
