When Your Heart Needs a Safe Place!

Have you ever locked your doors at night, but still couldn’t shut out the worry?

Good morning, my friend.

Psalm 91:10 says, “There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.”

What a powerful reminder that our refuge is in the Lord!

Now, this doesn’t mean that God’s children never experience sickness, sorrow, or difficult days. Later in this same psalm, God says, “I will be with him in trouble.” Trouble may come, but we never have to face it alone.

Sometimes we spend so much time imagining what might happen that we miss the blessings of what God is doing right now. We worry about our family, our health, our future, and things we cannot control.

But, my friend, worry cannot give you the security your heart is searching for. Bring those concerns to the One who loves you and watches over you.

You can trust His care even when you don’t understand your circumstances. His presence is certain, and His faithfulness does not change with the evening news.

Before you step into this day, take a moment to pray: “Lord, You are my refuge. Help me trust You with my home, my family, and everything weighing on my heart.”

Take the next step with confidence in Him. You don’t know everything this day will bring, but you know the God who will walk with you through it.

Trust Him, my friend, and Press On!
