Becoming Powerful!

Breath Is Life! Have you ever stopped to think about what an amazing thing BREATHING is? I mean if our breathing stops, then life as we know it stops. Breath is the evidence of an external force and supernatural source at work in, on and through us. A force and source which allows us to live, grow and experience the miraculous from the inside – out.

Notice Your Breath! Take a moment to pay attention to your breath. Inhale a deep breath and hold it for a moment, now as you exhale, think about and realize the reality of the power of breath. Isn’t it amazing! We don’t have to remind ourselves to do it. We just naturally breath in and out all day and all night long, asleep or awake. Breathing is an awesome gift from our Creator, a gift that keeps giving in so many different ways.

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” -Genesis 2:7

When we take the time to become aware of our breath, we are almost immediately reminded of God’s love. Breath is His gift of life to us, which enables us as spiritual beings to enjoy, learn and grow from this human experience. I breathe in God’s love, His endless love, miracles and blessings flow into my life and empower me to remember who I am. I am a child of the Most High God, the Creator of everything and the sustainer of all life. From within and all around me, I find spiritual nourishment from my connection with the divine.

Open up your heart, mind and spirit today. Pay attention to who and what you really are. Not a human being, but a spiritual being, empowered by the supernatural power of the One who created you. Breathe in God’s love, grace and mercy and breathe out love, grace and mercy to others. This participation with divinity is our super power to transform lives and change this world we live in.

Everything You’re Looking For Outside Can Be Found Inside!

All You Need Is Inside! Sometimes I like to be in a group of people and at other times I like to be by myself. There have been times when I was all by myself and I wished that I was in a group of people. One of the things I am learning is that even when it seems as if I am all alone, I am really not. God has promised that He will never leave me or forsake me, but that He will always be right here within me.

Sometimes It’s Tough! Life can be hard, difficult and a challenge, but that does not mean God is absent. Just because we cannot feel His loving embrace does not mean that we are not wrapped up in it. This is why God has given us the amazing gift of faith – ”the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.”

The Sun Always Shines! There are times during the day and night when we cannot see the sun, yet we know it is there and will shine again tomorrow. God would never turn his look of love away from us, but He would allow us the option of making the choice about what we choose to focus on, which is an incredible indication of just how much God really does love us. There is never a prayer that we will pray that God does not answer. We may not get the response we are looking for, but at the proper time, we will for sure get a yes, no or wait.

”Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” -Deuteronomy 31:6

God is everywhere, but most especially in our heart, mind and soul. When our thoughts are not His thoughts, He speaks to us in a multitude of different ways to try to get our attention and redirect our thoughts, so that they might travel to the place of peace We were created for. His comfort is always one prayer of understanding away, if we will just pray and believe.

There is nowhere we can go to escape His wisdom and no place we can hide to get away form His power. He teaches us from the inside out how to live from the outside in. He Who is Love created us in love to receive love, share love and be love. When We live in the flow of His unconditional love, We are delivered from our fears, pains and any negativity that would attempt to rob us of our created purpose. We can’t do this thing called life by ourself and the good news is that we don’t have to, because God is within…

Something Greater Is On The Way!

You Were Created For More Than This! There is a longing inside of each of us for something more than what we know or have. Given enough time, heart ache and let downs and we slowly learn to train ourselves to live the jaded life of low expectation, but still every now and then, the winter turns to spring and reacquaints us to the possibilities that have long slept dormant, somewhere deep inside of us. And we can’t help but to dream again…

What Am I? I am a soul, living as spirit in this body of flesh with a fully engaged mind, which offers me the human experience of learning and growth. And with all that is goin on between soul, spirit, body and mind there is still a yearning for something more. Something from some where keeps whispering: “You were created for more than this!” Just as the grass grows toward the sky, as water flows to it’s lowest point and as flowers follow the sun, I too, seek Spirit as my source.

Always Searching! This seeking of Spirit as my source, manifests itself in a sort of restlessness that has me jumping from one thought to the next in search of the something deeper and more meaningful that I know must exist. I have searched high and low, in relationships, the earning of money, titles and degrees, the accumulation of possessions such as material goods, houses, land, clothes and cars, only to find that the ego always lets me down and leaves me with more of a hungry feeling than when I began.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” -John 14:12

Created For Greatness! I know in my core that I was created for greatness and that my greatness comes about it my being and doing what I was created for. The temptation is to always be distracted by the lesser, the more obtainable, the worldly, but I was created for greater challenges that are not of this world. I am not in this struggle alone, my Creator is with me and has given me help in the form of spirit, which many call angels, which come in all shapes and sizes, and from all directions in this life.

Live And Learn! As I learn to open my heart, mind and spirit to this supernatural help from on high, I discover and tap into the greatness and my body becomes stronger, my mind more filled with wisdom and my spirit more yielded to the guidance and strength that flows from the secret place of the most high and I take steps to become the person I long to be, so that I can do the amazing things I was created and gifted to do, so that I might glorify my Creator and bless my brothers and sisters, as I honor the imprint on my soul of the Almighty, by chasing after the yearning of my soul as I follow the path planned out for me since before I was ever born…
