Be Careful Little Mouth What You Say!

When I was a little boy we used to sing a song in children’s church that went something like this: “O be careful little mouth what you say
O be careful little mouth what you say, For the Father up above
Is looking down in love. So, be careful little mouth what you say…”

In a world inundated with noise, it’s very easy for us to underestimate the profound impact our words can have. Beyond just communication, our words possess the power to shape narratives, inspire change, and influence the course of history. The old saying, “The pen is mightier than the sword,” holds true and is a great reminder of the potency and power of our words.

Think about it: Words are not just symbols; they are vessels of meaning, carrying the weight of our intentions, emotions, and convictions. With a single word we have the ability to convey a multitude of thoughts and ideas. Consider the ripple effect of a kind word or an encouraging phrase – it has the potential to uplift spirits, fostering a positive atmosphere that influences not only the hearer, but also those that come in contact with them. On the flip side, a harsh remark can cut deep, leaving lasting scars on the psyche of those it touches, as well as the ones they touch and come in contact with.

Our words are actually the architects of our reality, constructing the world we live and play in. Words shape our perceptions, influencing how we view ourselves and others. The narratives we create with our language have the unique ability to mold our collective consciousness, define societal norms and shape community values.

Moreover, the words we choose can shape our own destinies. Affirmations, positive self-talk, and the language we use to describe our goals contribute to our mindset and motivation. By consciously selecting empowering words and doing away with negative self talk, we set the stage for personal growth and achievement.

With great power comes great responsibility. Misused or inflammatory language can sow discord and fuel conflict. The digital age has amplified the reach of our words with social media, making it crucial to consider the impact of our online communication. The keyboard can be as influential as the pen, and the words we type can leave lasting impressions on us and others.

In cultivating a mindful approach to language and the power of our words, we unlock the potential to build bridges, foster understanding, and promote positive change.

It starts with awareness – being conscious of the impact our words can have and choosing them with intention rather than carelessness. The power of our words lies not just in their ability to express, but in their capacity to shape the world we live in. So let us wield this power wisely, creating a beautiful masterpiece of dialogue that uplifts, inspires, and unites us all…

You – Version 2.0

If you will take just a moment to observe all of creation, you can’t help but notice that everything that has been created is continually improving and becoming better. You were made in the image of God and you are a work in progress, which means that you are a part of the Master’s Master Piece, created to become a better version of yourself. Becoming a better version of yourself does not happen by accident, but by taking very intentional steps here are a few of the steps that we all need to take to become the better version of who God created us to be.

Three Steps To Becoming A Better Version of Yourself!

1.) Believe You’ve Got The Power! “18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.’ -Matthew 28:18 God is all powerful and God flows His unlimited to power through His Son Jesus Christ into our lives. This unlimited supernatural power enables us to live a life that is beyond anything that our limited human mind can comprehend or dream. You’ve got the power, but you have to believe it for it to become active and effective in your life and living.

You have spiritual, mental and physical power! The power of God that flows to and through your life is not limited to just one area, but instead flows to every area of your life, enabling you to become all that you were created to become in blessing others and giving glory to God.

In Philippians 4:13 the Scripture teaches that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!” We need to personalize this verse and allow it to empower our faith to help us believe that all things are possible with God, our Creator.

I challenge you to: Say it, believe it and live your life in it’s power!

2.) Get Active And Stay Committed! “19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” -Matthew 28:19 gives us the command to go in that power that God has given us and make disciples. You know you’ve got it, when you can’t help but share it with others. As we keep working on ourselves, before we know it – we are helping others, which is why it is very important to remember: You can’t give to anyone else what you don’t possess!

3.) Remember: Team Work Makes The Dream Work! “20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” -Matthew 28:20 explains that the best example is example and so we need to live our lives out loud and proud by coming together and working together to be a blessing to one another. There is no “I” in Team, but there is an EAM = Everyone Achieves More! Remember: God Plus Me Equals A Majority and with God and me working together with His other special creations, anything is possible…

What If You Really Believed?

Not Everyone Has Jesus, But They Can!

It’s not politically correct now a days to talk about Jesus, but it will always be spiritually correct and spiritually correct is more important than any other kind of correctness we can ever achieve. It is possible to know about Jesus and not know Jesus. Knowing Jesus in a personal relationship is what makes the supernatural difference in our life that allows us to have life changing connection with our Creator.

I like to think of life divided into three major areas: Physical, Mental and Spiritual. If we ever hope to take the physical and mental to it’s greatest place, then it will be because we have first worked on developing and strengthening the spiritual part of our life with a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

This is why we should see Jesus not just as God’s Son and not just as a Savior, but also as a mentor and life coach. When we read the story of Jesus in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, this is exactly what we see Jesus doing. Jesus is leading, mentoring, guiding, directing, training, teaching his disciple how to live and see life and eternity from a totally different perspective than the rest of the world.

I mean think about it for just a minute: A really good guy through the ministry of life coaching mentored twelve guys and a group of followers for three years and changed the world! The results of Jesus as a LIFE COACH still impact our lives today!

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. -1 John 4:9

What could Jesus do with your life if you allowed him to life coach and mentor you through his Church and Word? How would your life look different physically, mentally and spiritually, if you allow the supernatural power of Heaven to flow to and through you? Why do we insist on trying to do this thing called life in our own limited weakness, when we have failed over and over again trying it our way? When are you going to get ego and self out of the way, so that you can discover what really matters? Who could you be and who does God want you to be and will you allow yourself to get there with His help?

These are the questions that matter. These are the questions that will change your life. These are the questions that we need to use to challenge and investigate our way of living. When we ask and answer these questions honestly, then we will see our need to not just know about Jesus, but to know Jesus in a real and personal way. And when we know Jesus in a real and personal way, our life will begin to line up behind his leadership and in his leadership we will find the meaning and purpose that helps us to live a life that is filled with blessing and glory for God…
