Whatever we see, it is important to remember that we don’t see everything. And it is very true that there is more than just what meets the eye. Most of us, tend to think of ourselves as human beings, when in reality we are so much more. We are spiritual beings made in the image of our Creator God. We are made in love, by love and for love. We cannot see the total picture of our life, because it is continually unfolding and revealing itself in miraculous and unexplainable ways.
Part of what confuses us about life is that we tend to focus on what is happening outside of ourselves and miss what is happening inside of ourselves and inside is where the real art of living, growing and developing is taking place.
“The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.” -1 Corinthians 2:14
When we learn to let the inside determine the outside, rather than allowing the outside to influence the inside, we begin to live at the higher place we were created for. Our senses see, hear, feel taste and smell, allowing us to experience all that life has to offer and then some. This is what we were created for.
We have the power to choose the eyes that we see with. If we only see with our human eyes, then we will tend to focus on darkness and in that dimness, we miss out on the better things. If we choose to see with our spiritual eyes, then we experience illumination, which allows us to see the hidden things and understand the unexplainable.
Choose love and light, you will be glad you did…
