Aging With Grace!

I have often heard and sometime said myself in the last couple of years that getting older is not for sissies. Someone said that getting old is no fun, but I’m not so sure that I agree with that one, because getting old is better than the alternative, so it is best to learn how to make the best of it. I am at that age to where I am learning that what my Granny used to say is very true: “If you don’t use it, you’ll lose it!”

If we fail to exercise our bodies and stretch our muscles, then we will lose strength and flexxibility. If we don’t take the time to exercise our mind by reading and continually learning new things, then our attitudes will become limited, constricted and conflicted.

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” -2 Corinthians 4:16

The life we live is the life we experience and it is built. up or torn down by the thoughts we think on a repetitive and continual basis. When we expand our thinking and focus it in positive ways, we increase our possibilities and grow our joy.

The key to aging is learning to age with grace. Everyone decides their own attitude about aging. It can be an attitude of sorrow, frustration and disappointment, which will lead to a challenged, rough and no fun process or we can age with an attitude of joy, eargerness and excitement, which will allow us to experience and share great blessings.

From the very moment we are born, we are getting older, so never stop learning, take advantage of opportunities to grow and always seek to be the biggest blessing you can be…

Open Yourself To Love!

There are times in life when we are afraid to love, because we think it might make us vunerable to manaipulation and/or open us to the danger of having our life screwed up in some way. This fear is the exact opposite of what love is all about. It is in our receiving and sharing of love that our created purpose is fulfilled and our life is opened up for blessings and growth.

“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.” -1 John 4:18

By throwing open the doors, opening the windows and tearing down the self errected walls of our lives, we make ourselves available to really living. Anything less is a lie, a watered down version of the truth we were created in and for. The objective of this human experience is to discover our true self and reveal that self to others so they may experience blessings and grow along side of us.

A seed grows best in tender soil, so we need to take on and take out the hardness that is caused by the constant misfeeding of our ego. Often in our effort to defend ourselves, we reveal our real weakness and open our life to the attacks that can take us down and out, if not dealt with properly.

Strength that is controlled, directed and focused is greater than strength that is unbridled, wild and distracted. We have unlimited supernatural power, but we limit often thend to limit it with our unbelief, lack of discipline and unwillingness to control our thoughts.

Identify and begin to remove the walls you have errected for your protection, because they are doing more harm than good. Get rid of the barriers that get in the way of the free flow of love into and out of your life. Take on and take out fear and any sources that feed and grow it in your day to day operations. Open your heart, mind and life to give and receive, just as your Creator God gives and receives.

When you open yourself to receive God and His love, God and His love fill you to overflowing with the supernatural power and unlimited blessing of creation, which grows real peace in all that you do…

You Secret Super Power!

You have a not so secret super power and it is the power to choose what you believe! It is perhaps your greatest power, because all the other powers are influenced by it. Whatever is going on in your life, you have the opportunity to make the choice about what you think and believe.

You can choose to think about the good, instead of the bad. You can make the choice to believe in miracles, rather than curses. And you can choose to have faith over fear. It does not matter what other people do or say, because you get to decide for you, regardless of their actions and reactions.

12 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.14 If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. -John 14:12-14

When you begin to exercise your power of choice about what you believe, you start to develop and grow the power of your spiritual mind. When you allow yourself to see the world that you want, the world that you want begins to manifest itself and become reality.

We tend to see what we look for and when we look for the good in others, then others usually let us see that side of them. When we look for miracles, then all of a sudden, we seem to be surrounded by miraculous occurances. When we exercise our faith, anything is possible and nothing is impossible.

Do not allow the spiritual ignorance of the world to distract you from your created pupose. Do not allow the distractions of this world to deter you from embracing and growing your super power to choose what you believe. Embrace your faith for the better and experience the blessings you were created for. You will be glad you did!
