Joy Is On The Way!

Oh, friend… let me encourage your heart today with a powerful truth straight from Psalm 30:5 — “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”

Now that’s a Word right there!
Because I don’t know what kind of night you’ve been walking through. Maybe it’s a night of heartbreak, a season of sickness, or a storm of struggle. Maybe you’ve cried yourself to sleep more times than you can count, wondering if the light would ever break through. But can I tell you something, not from theory, but from testimony? Morning is coming.

David didn’t say joy might come. He said it will. Why? Because God is faithful. He never wastes our tears. He bottles them. He sees every single one. And while the enemy might try to convince you that the night will last forever, the truth is — it’s just a chapter, not the whole story.

So hold on. Keep trusting. Keep praising, even in the dark. Because when God flips the page, joy is going to rush in like sunlight over the mountains. You’re not forgotten. You’re not finished. You’re just in the night before your morning.

And child of God — joy is on the way!

Made For Mending!

You know, life can be a lot like my favorite pair of jeans. Over time, they pick up a few tears, a few stains, and maybe even a patch or two. But you don’t toss ’em out; you mend ’em. That’s what 2 Corinthians 5:18 reminds us—God’s in the mending business.

Paul tells us that through Christ, God has reconciled us to Himself and handed us the ministry of reconciliation. In plain talk, that means God patched up the tear between heaven and earth when Jesus went to the cross. And now, He’s given us the needle and thread to help mend the broken places in this world.

Now, I know what you’re thinking—”I’m no tailor.” But the truth is, reconciliation doesn’t take a degree; it takes a heart willing to listen, forgive, and build bridges instead of walls. Maybe it’s an old friend you haven’t spoken to in years or a family member where words turned to silence. God’s asking us to pick up the thread and start sewing.

So, don’t be afraid of the work. The Master Tailor is with you, showing you how to make things whole again. Let’s be the kind of people who don’t just notice the tears in the fabric of life but do something about it. That’s what we were made for—mending. And when you do, you’ll see that God’s grace makes the stitches stronger than the original fabric ever was.

Let’s get to mending, y’all. The world needs it.

GPS = God’s Positioning System

You know, life has a funny way of reminding us that we’re not always in control, even when we think we’ve got everything planned out. Proverbs 16:9 says, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” Now, that’s just the good book’s way of telling us that while we might think we’re steering the ship, it’s God who’s really at the helm.

We spend so much time plotting and planning, figuring out every little detail. We’ve got our calendars, our to-do lists, and our five-year plans, but sometimes life has away of surprising us—a flat tire on a rainy day, a phone call with bad news, or an unexpected detour that takes us miles out of our way. And just when we think we’re lost, somehow, we end up exactly where we need to be.

It’s like when you’re driving down a country road, and the GPS tells you to turn left into what looks like a cow pasture. You’re sure it’s wrong, but you go ahead anyway because, deep down, you trust it. That’s what Proverbs 16:9 is all about. We can make all the plans we want, but it’s God who knows the best route. So, when life takes you on an unexpected turn, don’t sweat it. Trust that there’s a reason, even if you can’t see it just yet.

So, keep making your plans, but remember to leave a little room for God to guide your steps. After all, He’s never let us down before.
