Choices Matter!

There’s coming a day, friend,  the Son of Man—Jesus Himself—is going to step onto the stage of eternity and take His rightful throne. And when He does, all the nations—every tribe, tongue, and people—are going to gather before Him.

And here’s the part that’ll make you sit up and pay attention: He’s going to separate folks, just like a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. Now, this isn’t about wool and horns—it’s about hearts and hands. It’s about how we lived.

Not what we said, not what we posted, but what we did. Did we feed the hungry? Did we welcome the stranger? Did we serve like Jesus served? You see, the line between sheep and goats is drawn in the details of our daily lives.

So today, as you walk through your world—Walmart, church, or your front porch—ask yourself: Am I loving like Jesus? Am I living like I belong to the Shepherd?

Because one day, that throne room moment will come. And on that day, I sure hope we’ll be standing on the right side—grinning with the sheep—because we chose to live with compassion, grace, and guts right here and now.

Live today like eternity depends on it. Because it does.

You Matter!

Have you not read this Scripture? “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.”
—Mark 12:10

Sometimes life makes you feel like the reject pile at a yard sale—overlooked, misunderstood, and not quite what folks were lookin’ for. But let me remind you today: the very stone the builders tossed aside… God picked it up, dusted it off, and made it the cornerstone.

That’s the way of the Kingdom. God doesn’t use what the world thinks is perfect—He uses what’s surrendered. What folks walk past, God walks up to. What others throw out, God lifts up.

Jesus was rejected, and He became the foundation of our faith. So if you’re feelin’ rejected, broken, or set aside, don’t lose heart. God’s still buildin’. And you just might be the piece He’s been waitin’ on to complete His masterpiece.

You matter. You belong. And in the hands of the Master Builder, your life has purpose beyond your pain. So hold your head high today—not because of who you are, but because of Whose you are.

The cornerstone was once rejected, too.

Grateful Praise!

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” — Psalm 100:4

Some mornings, it’s just hard to get going. The coffee isn’t strong enough, the sky’s too gray, and the world feels a little too heavy.

But Psalm 100:4 gives us a divine prescription: Thanksgiving and praise. Not because life is perfect, but because God is.

You don’t need a golden ticket to get into the presence of God—just a grateful heart and a mouth full of praise.

It’s like stepping through the front door of Heaven with a song on your lips and joy in your soul, even if your shoes are muddy from the mess you’re walking through.

So today, take a deep breath. Thank Him for breath in your lungs, food on your table, grace that’s fresh every morning, and love that won’t let go. Praise Him not just for what He’s done, but for who He is—good, faithful, and always near.

When you shift your focus from what’s wrong to Who’s right, everything changes. The gates open, the courts welcome you in, and suddenly the heaviness lifts. That’s the power of praise. That’s the beauty of thanksgiving. That’s the heart of worship.

Walk through those gates today, my friend. You have every reason to praise.
