Game Plan For Life!

Romans 12:12 says, “Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.”

Child of God, that verse right there is a three-step survival guide for every season of life.

First, “Rejoicing in hope.” No matter what you’re facing, you can celebrate because your hope isn’t tied to this world. Your hope is anchored in Jesus Christ, and that hope doesn’t disappoint. When the storm clouds roll in, lift your head and remind yourself—God’s promises are still true.

Second, “Patient in tribulation.” Nobody likes the word patient. We want relief right now. But God uses tribulation like a refining fire, burning off what doesn’t belong and shaping us into what He designed. Patience in trials is not passive—it’s trusting that God is working even when you can’t see it.

And third, “Continuing instant in prayer.” That means don’t let prayer be your last resort—make it your first response. When life knocks you down, don’t waste time worrying. Hit your knees. Talk to your Father. Prayer doesn’t just change things; it changes you.

So today, rejoice in the hope you have, be steady in your struggle, and stay faithful in prayer. That’s how you keep walking in victory—no matter what’s going on around you.

Chase God!

Child of God, let me remind you today of a promise straight from the lips of Jesus: ‘But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.’

We spend so much of our energy chasing the ‘things’—the job, the money, the approval, the peace of mind. But Jesus flips the script. He says, Don’t chase the stuff… chase Me. When you put God’s kingdom first, when you prioritize His ways above your own, when you make righteousness your pursuit—God takes care of the rest.

It doesn’t mean you’ll never face a storm, but it does mean you won’t face it alone. It doesn’t mean every want will be met, but it does mean every need will be supplied. The pressure is off of you to make life work, because your Father already knows what you need before you ask Him.

So today, stop running after what the world promises, and start running after the One who promises the world. If you’ll put God first, you’ll discover that He’s already prepared the blessings you’ve been chasing. Seek Him first… and watch how He adds the rest.”

The Next Step!

Psalm 119:105 says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

Now let me tell you something, friend—life can get mighty dark sometimes. You don’t always know which way to turn, and the road ahead feels more like a maze than a straight line. But God didn’t leave us stumbling around in the dark. He gave us His Word.

Notice what the Psalmist said—it’s a lamp for my feet and a light for my path. That means God’s Word doesn’t always show you the whole journey, but it’ll give you enough light to take the next step. And sometimes, that’s all you need—the courage to take the next step in faith.

You may not see how it’s all going to work out… but if you’ll trust God’s Word, you’ll never take a step in the wrong direction. His Word will guide you, protect you, and keep you moving forward when everything around you says stop.

So today, don’t let the darkness intimidate you. Pick up the lamp of God’s Word. Read it. Trust it. Walk in it. And I promise you—step by step—you’ll find yourself right where God wants you to be
