You Are Special!

The big battle of our lives is with our ego. The battle of our ego happens when we get caught up in believing that we are what we do, what we have or what we think other people think of us. It distracts us from the reality that we are all special creations of the Most High God…

When we learn to step out of the battle with ego and instead focus our energy on the reality of who we are and what we are created to do, we find purpose that drives us to the higher levels of living and allows us to enjoy the blessings of the supernatural.

“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.” -John 1:12-13

Our power to live does not come from the world we live in, but from our Creator, the same One, who created this world we live, learn, laugh and love in. Stop for a moment and let that thought sink in, so that you may realize just how amazing and majestical you are…

You are created by God, in the image of God and gifted with the power of God. God is your source and spirit, your everything that really matters. If you want to discover and tap into your true identity, then you must begin and end with the beginning and the ending and that is God.

God is your home and it is from this place of safety and shelter that we find the empowerment to go on into whatever it is that lay before us. From this place, right, good and light flow to overcome wrong, bad and darkness to make the impossible – possible.

Our thoughts, actions and feelings become one with our Creator and our created purpose to guide us into the fulfillment of our destinies. Find the rest you have been looking for, by understanding that there is nothing for you to do, but submit, let go and let God.

It’s About Time To Stop Wasting Time!

Have you ever stopped to think about how much time we waste on stuff that really does not matter? I call this stuff that we waste our time on the “nonessentials”. This is the stuff that has no eternal significance and no real ultimate meaning. One of my professors in college called it “puff and fluff”.

Think about it for a moment – how much time do you spend on stuff that really does not matter? How much time do you waste being distracted by things that do absolutly nothing for your soul? We allow way to much stuff to come into our lives and eat away at what really matters from the inside-out.

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.” Ecclesiates 3:1-8

It is past time to begin distancing yourself from the unproductive stuff that wastes your prescious commodity of time. Time is one of those things that we all have a limited supply of. I don’t care how much money you have, you cannot buy anymore time. What you got you got and that’s it!

On one side of tracks of life you have the stuff that does not really matter, the time wasters, life suckers and blessing thieves. On the other side of your life you have the things that do really matter, the blessings, the growth and your purpose. Every moment of everyday you make a decison about which side of the tracks you are going to live on.

Stop letting fear, misunderstanding and negativity keep you from experiencing the strength, growth and positivity you were created for. You were created for this miraculous experience called life, so that you might learn, grow and develop into the amazing creation that you are.

From your Spirit, learn to:

1.) Embrace all that you are and all you were created for.

2.) Enjoy this miraculous experience called life for all it has to offer.

3.) Experience the joy that comes from really living by getting the most out of every moment…

Like What You See?

Do you like what you see? Take a good, honest look at your life and the answer might surprise you, because it may be that you do like what you see and you didn’t think you were going to, or it may be that you do not like what you see and you thought you were going to love it. Most likely you will find yourself some where in between, with some things you love, some things you hate and some things some where in between.

I have found that the great majority of us, just sorta tend to tolerate life. We have moments we love and moments we hate, but most of us end up living the majority of our lives in the “blahs”, stuck somewhere in between love and hate. On some level, we know we were created for more, but we are just too tired to even try to think our way through it.

Every now and then though, something comes along and moves us out of our comfort zone to the place that we can’t help but take a moment or two to imagine what our life might look life if we were really living it the way we sometimes catch ourselves dreaming. We think about the person we could be, should be and would be, if???

Have you ever caught a glimpse of yourself, when you had it all together? Have you ever seen the “put together” you, full of energy, great ideas and experiencing the miraculous in all directions? When we see it, we believe it and for just a moment want it, but then life wakes us up and we go right back to thinking about what might have been?

Could I suggest a different way to look at life? Could I maybe point out another possibility of how we can possibly see things? Rather than thinking about would’ve, could’ve and should’ve – how about we see ourselves as God our Creator sees us?

In Ephesians 1:3-4 it says: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.”

God sees us from beginning to end and from end to beginning! God sees the total picture of all that we’ve been through, survived and grown from. If you are still living, then you are still a work in progress, so don’t you dare give up and don’t for one moment entertain the thought of giving in, because God has great big amazing plans for you! See it, believe it, live it – you’ll be glad you did!
