Breaking Free Of The Jaded Life!

Live in this world long enough and at some point you are going to find yourself disenchanted and jaded by the sacrifices you’ve made, which have required you to forfeit the tenderness you were created in. This does not take away from the amazingness of this world, but it does cause us to miss out, because we are not tuned in and aligned in body, mind and spirit.

Living the jaded life leads us to become mean, cynical and sarcastic, which keeps us from living in the power of supernatural blessing. Most of us that get trapped in the jaded life style do not have or make time for reflection and instead get caught up, distracted and sent in the wrong direction by judging others, becoming overly critical and toxic in our negativity.

This is not a place or way we would normally choose to live our life, but once we get on the proverbial ”rat wheel”, it is very challenging to get off. At some point we get tired of it all, give up and become stuck or we become motivated to change things no matter what.

”Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.” -Isaiah 40:28

Here’s the beautiful and amazing truth: We don’t have to learn anything new to break free of the jaded life, we simply have to believe, claim and live in the power of truths already revealed by God to us. Faith makes all things possible and the best way to grow our faith is to return to what we already know and trust, believe and have faith.

There is a door that leads to freedom from the jaded lifestyle and that door is unlocked with the key called faith. Unlock that door with your belief and watch the miraculous freedom flow from Heaven into and through your life and living…

The Last Day Of Your Life!

The media would have us think everyone is freaking out over the coronavirus, which I simply don’t believe is true. I believe a handful of people have bought into the hysteria, but for the most part, the people I know, just continue to live their everyday lives and maybe wash their hands a little bit more. All this media negativity and the knee jerk reaction of professional organizations has got me to thinking…

There used to be a popular phrase plastered on buildings, stickers and used in quotes by motivational speakers. It said: ”Today is the first day of the rest of your life!” This is a pretty good thought to think and be challenged and encouraged by, but maybe a better way to think about it is: ”Today may be the last day of your life.” Everyday is a precious gift, which most of us tend to take for granted.

The scriptures are full of reminders that we have a limited amount of time in this human experience. James 4:14 says: ”Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.”

I don’t have any idea how serious this coronavirus deal is, but I do know that we are not guaranteed tomorrow and we never have been, so really nothing has changed. My advice is to live today as of it may be your last day. If you love someone tell them, pull close and hug and kiss those who are dear to you. Forgive and let go of negativity. Do the things that matter, while there is still time to do those things. LIVE your life, that’s why you are here and that is what you were given this day to do.

The past is over, learn from it, let it go and move on. The future here on earth is not promised to any of us, so accept today as the present, open it up and enjoy it for all its worth and you will have nothing to fear.

The Judgement Jam!

Judgement is a distraction! One of the big things I have seen that seems to get in the way of our advancing to the next level which we were created for, is getting caught up in judging others. When we judge others, we take the focus off of ourselves and totally miss what really matters and needs attention in our own life and living.

Other people’s opinion about you is none of your business and you should not waste your energy having opinions about others. This is one of the things that creates a negative domino effect in our life, because when our ego begins to worry about what others think of us, we start to look for ways to manufacture excuses, which motivates us in the negative direction of trying to go on a fishing expedition to find what is wrong with someone else.

In Matthew 7:1-5, Jesus teaches a classic lesson on why judging others is not part of the Master Plan for our life when he says: ”1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

Our major problem is our limited vision. We can’t see everything and perspective definitely matters! We tend to see people from the outside and do not possess the power to look within to the deeper forces that influence and shape who they are, what they do and say, and how they act. And so it is important to remember that our focus need to be working on ourself not trying to straighten others out.

Our job is to accept, not judge or control. When we get this right, others will be positively impacted and as they begin to get it right too, we can grow together, which is a major part of our created purpose. We often fight battles and waste our energy on stuff that is none of our business and beyond our control. Learn to let these things go, so you can focus on ”your” stuff and you will be amazed at how the blessings begin to flow…
