What Are You Looking For?

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” -Jeremiah 29:13

There is something powerful about a wholehearted search. Most of us have searched for many things in life. We have searched for direction, searched for peace, searched for answers, searched for purpose. Sometimes we search in all the wrong places and come up empty.

God makes a promise in Jeremiah 29:13 that still speaks to the quiet places of the heart today. He tells us that when we seek Him with all our heart, we will find Him. Not might find Him. Not hope to find Him. We will find Him.

God is not hiding from you. He is not playing games with your life. He is inviting you closer. He is waiting for the moment when your search becomes sincere, when your desire becomes genuine, when your heart turns fully toward Him.

Many people want a little bit of God, but God responds to those who want all of Him. When you begin to seek Him in prayer, in His Word, in quiet moments of honesty, you will discover He has been nearer than you ever realized.

The greatest discovery in life is not something you achieve, it is Someone you find.

Seek Him today. Open your heart fully. And you will discover that the God you are looking for has already been reaching for you.
