“For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” -Matthew 7:8
Sometimes life can make us feel like heaven is quiet.
You pray… and the answer doesn’t come as quickly as you hoped.
You seek… but clarity seems just out of reach.
You knock… yet the door still looks closed.
But Jesus reminds us that prayer is not a gamble… it is a promise.
God does not tell us to ask because He is reluctant… He tells us to ask because He is ready.
He does not invite us to seek because He is hiding… He invites us to seek because He desires to be found.
And He does not encourage us to knock because the door is locked forever… He encourages us to knock because the door is already being opened in His perfect time.
Faith keeps asking when feelings say stop.
Hope keeps seeking when circumstances say quit.
Trust keeps knocking when the hallway feels long.
Sometimes the delay is not denial… it is preparation.
God is shaping your heart while He is arranging your answer.
Keep praying.
Keep trusting.
Keep believing.
Because the same Savior who made the promise… is the One who keeps it.
Ask… because God hears.
Seek… because God cares.
Knock… because God is already working on the other side of the door.
